Unit 3. Past Simple.


The formation of past simple is very easy. Take a look at this mind map the teacher prepared for you and post any doubts that may arise:



You must have noticed that there are two ways (examples) to produce past simple, with regular and irregular verbs. The previous ones are quite easy to understand as they only have to take the -ed ending; however the former ones can only be learnt by heart (to those foreign learners, of course), no matter what learning techniques you use.
